Lists are a way for you to segment AutoReach CRM to a targeted list or records that your agents can call. Here are some key concepts that you’ll need to understand before we begin the step-by-step process around list creation.
List Types
There are two types of lists inside of AutoReach: List and Campaigns. What are the similarities and differences? When should I use which?
List and campaigns are both types of lists but there are some distinct differences between the two:
- A List lives on forever whereas Campaigns are bound to a certain date range with a Start and End date. A campaign is only active once you’re in between those dates. Otherwise, your campaign is complete.
- Campaigns also have a Status to help with organizational purposes that you can use for sorting purposes. including Active, Completed, Canceled, and Pending.
Assignment Modes
There are two options when it comes to list creation and you can only use one of the below methods:
- Option 1: Assignment Mode: Admins and supervisors will build lists and then assign them to agents
- Option 2: All Role Creation Mode: All roles have the ability to create lists with the following parameters:
- Agents can create lists only for themselves to dial
- Supervisors and admins can create:
- Single-rep lists for one agent
- Multiple-rep lists for ALL agents meaning this list will be exposed and dialabled by all agents
You can define which mode you'd like to select under Account Settings:
- For Assignment Mode, Allow Reps to Create Lists = False (unchecked)
- For All Role Creation Mode, Allow Reps to Create Lists = True (checked)
Record Distribution Methods
This is another key concept to understand that determines how records will be distributed and calls:
- First-come, first-serve: records will be distributed to agents on a first availability basis. As a result multiple agents can potentially call a single record during different steps of the campaigns.
- Lead Routing (aka record ownership): records will be assigned to a single agent and only that agent will be able to call that record for the duration of the list cadence. This is a great option if you want to have consistently in who calls that record. Configuring Lead Routing can be found here.
