The Action Required section is a collection of all manual tasks that need to be completed by an agent. Manual tasks includes any type of manual action that’s designated in a specific cadence step. Common examples include adding someone on LinkedIn, sending a manual SMS, etc
Additionally if the Cancel SMS tasks that don’t have all custom fields present. Results in manual actions to unblock if checked setting is enabled, you’ll see all of those tasks there.
How to complete manual tasks
- At the very minimum, an agent can select the Complete button to finish their task after they’ve manually done so.
- There is also an option to cancel the task if necessary
- Similarly to phone calls and automated SMS messages (see here), manual tasks can also be deemed as successful or unsuccessful
