Using Relative Date Filters

AutoReach features 'Relative Date Filters' to help you swiftly choose time periods for analyzing data. This user-friendly tool eliminates the need for entering specific dates, making data management efficient and straightforward.

Here’s a breakdown of each filter with examples to illustrate their use:

Note: The times are calculated based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), ensuring consistency across different time zones.

• Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

  • Yesterday: This filter shows data from the entire previous day.
    Example: If today is July 5th, selecting 'Yesterday' displays data from July 4th.
  • Today: Selecting this displays data from the current day.
    Example: On July 5th, it shows data from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM of July 5th.
  • Tomorrow: This filter will display data for the entire next day.
    Example: If today is July 5th, 'Tomorrow' will show data for July 6th.

• Week-Based Filters

  • Last Week: This shows data from the previous week.
    Example: If today is Wednesday, July 5th, 'Last Week' will cover Monday June 26th through Sunday July 2nd.
    • Note: the beginning of a week always starts on a Monday
  • This Week: Selecting this shows data from the current week.
    
    • Example: If today is Wednesday, July 5th, it will cover Monday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 9th.
  • Next Week: This will display data for the upcoming week.
    • Example: If today is Wednesday, July 5th, 'Next Week' will cover Monday, July 10th to Sunday, July 16th

• Month-Based Filters

  • Last Month: Displays data from the previous month.
    Example: If it's July, 'Last Month' shows data for the entire month of June.
  • This Month: This filter shows data for the current month.
    Example: In July, it covers July 1st to July 31st.
  • Next Month: Selecting this will show data for the upcoming month.
    Example: If it's July, 'Next Month' displays data for August.

• Quarter-Based Filters

  • Last Quarter: Shows data from the previous quarter.
    Example: If it’s April, 'Last Quarter' covers data from January 1st to March 31st.
  • This Quarter: This filter displays data for the current quarter.
    Example: In April, it shows data from April 1st to June 30th.
  • Next Quarter: Displays data for the next quarter.
    Example: If it’s April, 'Next Quarter' will show data from July 1st to September 30th.

• Year-Based Filters

  • Last Year: This filter shows data from the previous year.
    Example: In 2023, 'Last Year' covers all of 2022.
  • This Year: Displays data from the current year.
    Example: In 2023, it shows data from January 1st to December 31st, 2023.
